Coastal Disability Advocates has dedicated over 20 years to assisting individuals with severe disabilities who are experiencing homelessness. We help them navigate the complex application process to obtain SSI/SSDI entitlements.
Our team utilizes the SOAR model to provide compassionate support and expert guidance to improve lives across New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties.
What is SOAR?
SOAR stands for SSI/SSDI Outreach Access & Recovery. Developed by NCCEH and SAMHSA, the model works to increase the successful outcome for individuals with severe disabilities facing homelessness who apply for benefits through the Social Security Administration and Department of Social Services.
